• IHOP
• Allan, Hubert, Mark and I had a discussion of United 93, especially whether they should have put it out so soon. We all kind of felt that the movie was good (well, Mark hasn't seen it), but it's still too early. Hubert and Allan chastised the American public for knowing so little about the rest of the world, but I invoked rational choice theory and said that there isn't much utility for them to know about the rest of the world. Even if they were well informed, what would they do? We have a division of labor in our society just so that everyday people won't have to know or worry about these things.

• Read some magazines (Out Traveler had a piece on Japan) and got Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. The librarian was smug and confused when I handed her $5.20 to pay my 70 cent fine.
• Ruby Tuesday
• After doing some reading to generate questions for anth 303 I went to dinner with Heatherly, George, Andy's wife, Andy, and Carolyn to celebrate George's defense.

• I did more slow reading, trying to double-up with television, and stayed up super late to generate only a few questions.

• Panera
  • I went to Panera to write but I ended up spending a lot of time thinking about what it is exactly that I am trying to argue.
• Later I went to Radio Shack to look at the iGo power adapter then LS Ayres to look at the Fossil front pocket wallets, deciding to pass on both.

• I put my thesis into the official format, which took a while, then did some reading.

• Class was super long with everyone's presentations, but I had fun.

• Hubert and I got the super supreme! But there wasn't much sauce. I found the interior to be strange and unexpected. Hubert told me about the oldest people he had dated and how bad he was at guessing ages.
• Silver Dipper/Dog n Suds

• Hubert and I picked up Carolyn, they got ice cream at the Silver Dipper, and then I had a root beer float at Dog n Suds.
