  • Woke up at 3 p.m. for some reason, then stayed in my dorm room all day and read my feeds, chatted, and read more Wright.

  • Started reading Wright’s The Moral Animal, and it’s terrible.
  • Went to the Harvest House with Anona to help her do some filming.
  • Did more reading. Gene-culture coevolution is pretty interesting.
  • Went to see Lust, Caution. It’s is my new favorite movie – sorry Tarkovsky.

  • Te form plus morau/itadaku in Japanese.
  • Ate some microwave egg, cheese, and sausage biscuits with my coffee, but they weren’t as good as donuts.
  • Finished Angela’s Ashes. I think it would be good to use in a discussion about masculinity.
  • Went to a Thanksgiving party. A couple of guys I later had an argument/discussion with about capitalism/socialism were on a laptop talking about stock trading websites when I got there. I was randomly wearing a picture of Stalin from the NY Times, and some people thought I was a hardcore communist, especially the ultra-capitalist who hates “socialist” taxes of any sort. He called me a hypocrite for being critical of capitalism yet using a laptop, and I said he was just as much of a hypocrite for using services that were paid for by taxes like public roads. Another guy explained that if people don’t work hard to get ahead then that is their fault, and when I said that the difference was that I still care about “those people” he said that you can only help people so much before spreading yourself too thin. Other than that, the turkey and the rest of the food was great!

Where am I?
